The first step in this international consolidation process has been the incorporation of Fiora, a European leader in the resin shower tray market, with a positioning in the high end of the market based on the strength of its brand, innovation, the quality of its products and designs, Excellence of its production and its customer service.
What is Fiora?
Fiora (Nájera, La Rioja) is a European leader in the manufacture of resin shower trays. Furthermore, Fiora produces and distributes resin panels, bathroom furniture, radiators, and accessories. The company was founded in the 1980s and, until its incorporation into Royo Group, was owned by the four founding partners. Currently, Fiora is positioned as the leading brand in the high-end segment of the market, and its trajectory in recent years has been one of international growth and success, based on a culture of innovation in new bathroom materials such as resins.
This material offers great versatility, excellent performance when in contact with water, and gives products a look similar to a wide variety of materials, allowing for infinite design and decoration possibilities in the bathroom. Fiora boasts a wide product range and an extensive, widespread network for distribution, customer service, and technical support in the main European markets.
The incorporation of this company into the Royo international group fits perfectly with the company's international strategy to grow in new geographic and market segments, extend its leadership to other product categories, and continue to improve customer service.
The commercial networks of Royo and Fiora will continue to operate independently, given the difference in market positioning of both brands, which will not prevent the utilisation of common synergies to promote sales growth. Fiora's central facilities are located in the town of Nájera in La Rioja, where manufacturing will be maintained, and comprise a total of 15,000 m2, equipped with the latest technologies in a plant that is self-sufficient in most production processes.
Innovation and internationalisation
Royo Group is the only Valencian company and one of the few Spanish ones recruited by Smart Eureka, the European cluster of intelligent 4.0 companies, a group of companies to which access is by invitation. Joining Smart Eureka is, for Royo Group, one of the first milestones in this new expansion phase until 2020. Recently, moreover, the Spanish Government incorporated the group – through the Ministry of Industry – into the “Cre100do” programme, a business transformation plan initiated by ICEX, Bankinter and the Círculo de Empresarios which will support 100 Spanish companies over the next 5 years on their path to growth.
