Royo Group International Bathroom (RGIB), the main holding company of Invext Corporation, has presented its first Corporate Social Responsibility report, “Advancing towards a better future,” in which it outlines its tangible social commitment actions on the path to its sustainability objectives.
With the presentation of this report, our subsidiary outlines one of the main pillars of its business strategy: the company's contribution to a better society and a fairer planet.
From Invext Corporation we undertake these commitments acquired in various social spheres such as employment, the inclusion of different groups in the company, or the care of the environment through an emissions reduction strategy.
In this regard, with regard to staff, the report concludes that in 2019 the proportion of women in the workforce reached 34% and rose to 28% in management, that 10% of employees have some form of functional disability, and that almost 2,700 hours of training were provided throughout the year. As regards environmental sustainability, the document highlights – as the most significant figures – a reduction of 82 tonnes in CO₂ emissions into the atmosphere and the recycling of 62% of the waste generated.
These are commitments that reinforce the responsible nature of the RGIB group, from which Invext's philosophy is derived, based on the pursuit of shareholder value creation, sustainably and long-term, maintaining the spirit and principles fostered by its shareholders.
Equally, the Corporate Social Responsibility report includes a detailed review of the company's 50-year history, its major milestones and its values, which have forged a strong and distinctive corporate culture that defines its identity and way of working. These values are absorbed into Invext's philosophy.
