The CEO of Invext, Santiago Royo, participated in the breakfast briefing organised by Valencia Plaza and the Valencian management company Nao Sustainable Asset Management (Nao SAM). The director of Valencia Plaza, Javier Alfonso, He was responsible for moderating this debate and raised topics such as the most relevant impacts that COVID-19 will have on society and its economic significance beyond the temporary impact. Some of the attendees highlighted the importance that remote working, telemedicine, and digital payments will gain from now on, or how sectors such as logistics or pharmaceuticals will emerge strengthened from this crisis. Also on the table were the profound economic consequences that this crisis will bring, which will result in a slower macroeconomic recovery and changes in consumer behaviour.
For its part, Santiago Royo, broke a lance in favour of banking, pointing out that "it has helped a great deal in this pandemic situation, unlike what happened in the 2008 crisis.".
