LAB Mediterráneo Foundation, of which the main business investment is a patron Invext, The Royo Group has met in Valencia to set out its action plan for 2022. The project, driven by the Valencian Association of Entrepreneurs (AVE), aims to position the Valencian Community as a benchmark in entrepreneurship, innovation, technology, and research.
At a meeting held at the facilities of EDEM Business School on December 3rd, the 27 trustees of the Foundation reviewed the actions developed during their first year of operation, in the areas of communication, dissemination, knowledge generation, and support for existing initiatives in the Valencian Community linked to entrepreneurship, innovation, technology, or research.
The project, created at the beginning of this year, has focused on 4 main areas around which it has established its lines of action. In the area of Communication They have created the creative concept "Unlimited Society", which focuses on communication that allows us to tell and show everyone what we are capable of.
In the area of disclosure, during 2021, 4 sessions were held on concepts such as artificial intelligence, entrepreneurship and collaboration between startups and large corporations, open innovation or digital transformation.
On the other hand, in the area of Knowledge generation, the Foundation has published a report commissioned from the IVIE, which, under the title “How to boost R&D&I in the Valencian Community” proposes learning from the R&D&I promotion and management experiences of the leading Spanish regions: Madrid, the Basque Country, Catalonia, and Andalusia.
And finally, the area of support for existing initiatives linked to the Foundation's areas of action, such as FTalks Food Summit, the International Congress of Artificial Intelligence, and the presentation of the Global Entrepreneurship Monitor (GEM) report on entrepreneurial activity in the Valencian Community 2020-2021.
